With 20+ years of experience in early childhood special education and family support, Sarah brings expertise, compassion, and practical knowledge to her work with children and parents.
Sarah earned her Master’s Degree from Bank Street College of Education in Early Childhood Special and General Education and her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science from Hofstra University. She holds New York and Connecticut certifications in Early Childhood/Elementary General and Special Education and is a certified Rush & Sheldon Family Coach and Circle of Security Parent Facilitator.
She began her career as a Kindergarten Special Education Teacher at The Aaron School in New York City, supporting children with a wide range of developmental and learning needs, including autism, speech and language differences, sensory integration, attention and learning challenges, and executive functioning. In 2020, Sarah joined Connecticut’s Birth to Three program as a Developmental Therapist and Service Coordinator. Over the past six years, she has supported countless families through important early childhood milestones—from navigating the initial identification of autism and developmental delays to leading multidisciplinary teams, conducting developmental evaluations, monitoring developmental milestones, and coaching parents through the hard moments of their child's development.
Empowering Parents. Supporting Children.
Sarah believes the most meaningful progress happens when strategies fit naturally into a child’s everyday routines. Through research-based, individualized parent coaching, she helps parents understand their child’s development, recognize what their child may be communicating through behavior, and build practical strategies that work in real life.
Her approach focuses on building parent confidence, strengthening connection, and helping children develop the skills they need for greater independence.
As a mother of two, Sarah understands firsthand the joys and challenges of the early childhood years. Her passion is helping children build confidence, skills, and independence while empowering parents with the tools and support they need to help their children thrive.

Natasha is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) with over 15 years of experience specializing in early childhood autism spectrum disorder and helping individuals overcome challenging behaviors. Working as a counselor at a residential treatment facility for children facing diverse behavioral challenges was the foundational experience that shaped her commitment to early intervention and collaborative care.
Currently, she serves as a Birth to Three BCBA and Team Coordinator, partnering directly with families to navigate new diagnoses, build effective behavior support plans, and foster meaningful progress through evidence-based goals and data collection. She believes that real, lasting change happens in the natural environment, which is why she works hand-in-hand with parents—utilizing visual supports, comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), and parent training—to empower families, ensure effective interventions, and celebrate every developmental milestone.
Natasha specializes in teaching functional play skills, providing feeding support, and guiding families through successful toilet training. She is fluent in utilizing assessments including the ESDM, VB-MAPP, PEAK, and ABLLS, and uses the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to guide her programming and goals.
Natasha graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Minor in Family Studies, followed by a Master’s degree in Special Education. She is currently an active member of the Connecticut Association for Behavior Analysis (CTABA) and is dedicated to continuously strengthening her knowledge by regularly attending conferences, participating in workshops, and reviewing current research to keep her practice aligned with the latest evidence-based practices.
“When a flower doesn’t bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower.” — Alexander Den Heijer
Guided by this philosophy, Natasha strives to work with families to adjust their surroundings, utilizing a proactive approach that helps the entire family thrive.
